At Eastern Health, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care and service possible to residents of our communities, region and province. This includes a commitment to improving access to services in French for our French-speaking patients and clients as well as continuing and enhancing relations with the Francophone community.

The Bilingual Services Office provides navigation  and interpretation services in order to support francophone patients and clients and their health-care professionals. We help facilitate access to resources, health information and people best suited to help patients and clients improve their health and quality of life.

The Bilingual Services Office also provides liaison services between Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon’s (SPM) Caisse de Prévoyance Sociale (CPS), Centre Hospitalier François Dunan (CHFD) and Eastern Health. The liaison services exist to assist with communication and cooperation between these groups of people.
