Social media policy
Eastern Health’s use of social media is guided by its social media policy (PDF, 2021). The video below provides an overview of important aspects of the policy for employees, physicians, students, volunteers and other representatives of Eastern Health.
Learning and development
We encourage our employees, physicians and volunteers to complete our social media course: ‘Social Media in Health Care.’
The course provides an overview of Eastern Health’s social media policy and its various applications in regards to personal, professional and corporate use of social media. It is highly recommended for health-care and support employees, physicians, students and volunteers. The course takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
This online course is delivered through our LEARN system.
