Strategic Plan
At Eastern Health, we are guided by our Strategic Plan 2020-2023, ‘Putting Excellence into Action’. This plan is a roadmap to help us guide us toward our vision of Healthy People, Healthy Communities.
The strategic plan identifies our strategic priorities on which the organization will focus over the next three years: access, quality and safety, population health, healthy workplace and sustainability.
Progress Reports
Every year, Eastern Health reports on its progress towards the achievement of its strategic priorities. We hold Annual General Meetings that provide information our how we are performing as an organization.
Accreditation
Accreditation is an ongoing process of assessing health services against standards of excellence to identify what is being done well and what needs to be improved. It provides us with a third-party assessment of our services using standards built upon best practices used and validated by similar organizations around the world.
Eastern Health has the highest possible ranking from Accreditation Canada: Accredited with Exemplary Standing.
