Health Sciences Centre – Chemotherapy Suite Project

Project summary:
A new chemotherapy suite on the third floor of the Nuclear and Molecular Medicine Facility. The project includes the following developments:
- redevelopment of Level 2 Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre to provide a new central registration desk with connected back office;
- provision for a new elevator in Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre connecting Level 1 and 2 Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre with Level 3 Nuclear and Molecular Medicine Facility;
- redevelopment of Level 3 Nuclear and Molecular Medicine Facility to provide a new Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre Chemotherapy Suite, including renovation and improvements to existing Level 3 staff lounge to provide new elevator lobby and family quiet room.
- Within the new Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre Chemotherapy Suite, a new turn‐key Satellite Chemotherapy Pharmacy is anticipated.
Funding for this project has been primarily provided by the Dr. H. Bliss. Murphy Cancer Foundation, the provincial government and Eastern Health. The satellite pharmacy and new elevator projects are funded wholly by the Provincial Government and Eastern Health.
