We are looking for volunteer client and family advisors to join the Regional Pharmacy Quality Committee. The Regional Pharmacy Quality Committee works to evaluate the quality and safety of pharmacy services throughout Eastern Health. The committee identifies opportunities for improvement; develops strategies and implements action plans related to quality, safety and risk issues; and evaluates outcomes achieved within the Pharmacy Program. The committee provides information to support the Pharmacy Accreditation Team medication management standards. The role of the client and advisors are to: - Provide input and feedback on initiatives.
- To share their perspective to help improve services.
- Attend committee meetings. Meetings are held once a month for 90 minutes, with the possibility of changing to a less frequent meeting schedule in the future.
The successful candidate must be: - A person who has had a health-care experience within Eastern Health in the last three years or who is currently having an experience of care.
- Aged 15 years or above.
- Willing to make a two-year volunteer commitment and participate in and attend volunteer orientation.
No special qualifications are required.
