Pastoral Care in the Community

Support and Counseling
 
Pastoral care staff members are available to provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families in times of crisis. Our pastoral care staff will also assist people who wish to make connections with other pastoral supports in their own communities. Our services can be accessed by simply contacting us.
Grief and Bereavement
 
Eastern Health offers grief and bereavement services. Referrals are made to professionals throughout Eastern Health, including pastoral care staff, to provide care and support for patients and families through times of loss.

Perinatal Bereavement Services 
 
Perinatal loss refers to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, termination, intrauterine death, stillbirth, or newborn death. Eastern Health offers the following services to individuals who have experienced the loss of a baby:
