Fertility Services

Newfoundland and Labrador Fertility Services

The NL Fertility Clinic provides provincial outpatient services for the diagnosis and treatment of fertility issues for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our staff from Children and Women's Health and Laboratory Medicine work together to provide quality care to patients.

The NL Fertility Clinic uses a client- and family-centred care approach, and partners with clients and their partners so they can provide input in the care we provide. Clients and partners are able to make informed decisions after being presented with clinical options. We respect the various ways available to create a family. We have an inclusive environment for all persons with medical reasons where fertility support is required, and incorporate all partners into the care we provide. Within the boundaries of existent legislation regarding reproductive care, we respect every person's choices in their fertility journey. When clients require out-of-province referral, we provide client selection of facilities and collaborate with those clinics if possible. Families, as defined by the client, are welcomed to attend fertility appointments together.
