How to Apply

To apply as a patient and family advisor with the Cancer Care Program, please follow these three easy steps:
 
2. Complete a “Client and Family Advisor” application;
3. In your application, indicate cancer care as your area of interest.

About the application process: An application and information package will be sent to individuals who have applied and those selected for interviews will be offered an interview. Once the interviews have been completed, individuals who have identified cancer care as an area of interest will proceed to be screened via telephone by a representative of the Cancer Care Program. Upon completion, a final screening will be completed by Eastern Health’s Volunteer Services Program, where reference checks and a certificate of conduct will be requested. All applicants will be notified in writing of their acceptance.
