Outpatient Psychiatry

Our team of dedicated health care professionals provides psychiatric assessment and treatment to children, adolescents and their family or caregivers.

Who we see

Admission to this program is coordinated through Child and Adolescent Central Intake.

Children from age two up to their 18th birthday.
  • Referrals to see the psychiatrist must be made by a doctor.
  • Referrals for allied health services must be internal. 

Common reasons for referrals are:

  • Anxiety
  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
  • Self-harming behaviours
  • Suicide attempts or ideations
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Psychosis
