Snacks

Snacks are part of healthy eating.  Many of us have several meals and snacks each day.  Young children need small meals and snacks since they eat a small amount of food at one time.

The key is to plan for snacks and choose foods that are part of Canada’s Food Guide.  This helps provide us with the most nutrition for health and energy.
