Mental Health and Addictions Services

We know we have an important role in the public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We know it is vital to continue to deliver mental health and addictions services and support to meet people’s needs.
Since the public health emergency, we are contacting clients with booked appointments.
While some urgent appointments and services are proceeding in-person, we are expanding options where possible. Our staff has continued to offer telephone and/or virtual counselling support through our DoorWays program, and in-person appointments are available upon request.
If you are feeling isolated and alone during the COVID-19 pandemic, reach out and speak with a trained mental health peer supporter. Call the Provincial Warm Line @ 1-855-753-2560 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily. They are there to listen and help.
Anxious about COVID-19 and not sure where to turn? Call the Mental Health Crisis Line 24/7 if you are experiencing a mental health crisis. Dial 1-888-737-4668. You are not alone.
We have a number of online mental health and addiction supports. If you or someone you know is feeling worried and alone during the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit to access free online programs and for connection to local mental health and addictions supports in your community.
Opioid Dependence Treatment
A temporary provincial phone line is now available for those receiving Opioid Dependence Treatment, for those seeking support for their opiate use, for their families and for health-care providers. The line operates Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can be reached by calling toll-free at 1-844-752-3588.
