Do I smoke? Quitting smoking is a big step, it’s not easy but it is the best thing you can do for you. Smoking when you are pregnant has been linked to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Do I know the health history of my family and my partner? Health problems can be passed on through families. Find out the medical histories on both sides of the family.

Have I thought about the risks of formula feeding? Formula fed babies are more at risk for common childhood illnesses such as chest and ear infections than breastfed babies. |
