Library:

• The Elaine Deluney Patient and Family Resource Library has over 500 books, pamphlets, audio tapes and video tapes covering a wide range of cancer-related topics. The library is located on the first floor of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, and offers information on types of cancer, conventional and complementary cancer treatments/therapies, side effects, nutrition, community services, coping with cancer and explaining cancer to children. 
• The library is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All patients, family members and support persons affected by cancer can access library resources. 
• There is also a set of library materials in each of our regional clinics in Corner Brook, St. Anthony, Grand Falls-Windsor and Gander. 
• Internet access is available in the Elaine Deluney Patient and Family Resource Library. Our resource library also has an electronic listing of all the cancer literature we have available.

Workshops:

“Look Good Fee Better” workshops for women dealing with cancer are held at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre monthly. A team of specially trained volunteers can assist you in dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment, especially in the areas of skin care, make-up and hair alternatives. If you wish to attend these workshops, you must pre-register by contacting the Reception Desk. Workshops are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September to June from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come and bring a friend.
