Patients are encouraged to have a family member or friend accompany them during their first visit.

Bring your medications:
When visiting the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for the first time, you should bring any medications you are taking including prescription drugs, over the counter medicines, and/or alternative/complementary medicines.
What to expect:
Refreshments/Food:
Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the main clinic waiting area of the Centre. Vending machines are also located within the clinic. If you would like something more substantial, a cafeteria is located in the Health Sciences Centre which is accessible via an internal corridor linking the two facilities.
Wheelchairs:
A supply of wheelchairs is available at the front entrance for patients who visit the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. We ask that you sign out the chair when you take it and make every effort to return it on your way out.

When you are admitted to hospital, or when you come in for tests or procedures, it is important that you update your personal information with the Admitting Clerk. If any of the following has charged, please inform the Clerk:
