Safety
The alarm system is a continuous rapid 120 gongs per minute ringing of the alarm bells. Evacuation of the hostel unit is mandatory. Please read the evacuation information in your room. Staff are available to answer any questions.

Room Accomodation
There are three types of accommodations offered to patients:
Patients who request a private room must make a deposit. This can be paid by cash, cheques or credit card. Unless the deposit is received, you will not be considered as having requested a private room.
Please note: If you receive a private room, you will be required to move if a sicker patient is in need of a private room and no other one is available. You will not be charged for the room once you move out and we will try to get you back in a private room as soon as one is available.
Meals
For your first day or two in hospital, you will receive food choices from a standard menu. After that you will receive menus to select your meals.Mealtimes are as follows:
If you have problems or concerns about your meals, please let your nurse know or ask to see a Food Services supervisor or your dietician.
