This building is comprised of two residential residences joined by a centre block. Each unit will house a mixture of bedroom types: private, semi- private and double rooms. Special design features include a wandering loop and outside contained garden accessible to residents with dementia requiring protective care. The facility includes space for recreation therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and spiritual care. As well, there is a large recreation area with a games room and exterior garden for young adults with severe physical disabilities.

Philosophy

The complex is committed to ensuring that the long-term care Bill of Rights is followed. We provide 24-hour care and have specialized programs for residents having chronic, physical and/or mental disabilities.

The high level of care provided by our staff ensures residents enjoy the maximum level of independence. The staff at Pleasant View Towers believes in providing resident centred care, which focuses on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of our residents, as well as providing support to families.

Pleasant View Towers is operated under the direct governance of Eastern Health.
